Bethel Camp exists so that individuals can experience life- change through KNOWING Jesus as creator and friend, GROWING in relationship with him, and SHOWING Him to others.

Bethel Camp is a Christ-centered ministry with an emphasis on Bible study and personal commitment to Christ.

In addition to the fun that young people have while here, many have come to know Jesus as Lord, and to grow in relationship with Him over the past sixty-two years.

Initially, the camping ministry was established to meet the spiritual and social needs of the Mennonite churches of the Appalachian mountain area. Over the years the camping ministry has expanded considerably to meet a wider variety of needs and to reach out to the larger body of Christ.

Bethel Mennonite Camp is owned by God and overseen by the camp board. We are a nonprofit ministry which operates on donations from churches and caring individuals. As a faith ministry, we are dedicated to keeping our fees low so as not to exclude anyone. All donations and suggested fees go toward the operation and improvement of the camp ministry.
